Welcome to the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame!
The Board of Directors met on June 15, 2022 to tally the votes of the past inductees and past and present Board Members to determine the 11 inductees to the Class of 2022 for the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame (MMSHoF).
Representing those members in the “Other than Driver” category are, Winning Edge Publishers Steve and the Late Sherry Landon, Promoters Tom Sprague Sr. and John Turnbull Sr., and car builder Tim Curry. In the Other Motorsports category is Trans Am driver and team owner Doug Peterson, while Drag Racing is represented by The Austin Brothers ans the Tignanelli Family/Shadowoods Racing group. Our Oval Track Legends era inductees are the Late Mel Householder and Eddie Hayden Sr. Rounding out our inductees and representing the Oval Track Modern Era are Randy Varney and Reinbold Racing.
The Board of Directors also selected both Dick Alberts and Dick Stemler to receive the MMSHOF Lifetime Dedication Award, Matt Prieur is slated to receive the Mick Schuler/MMSHOF Media Award while Laura Tucker was selected to receive the Dick Beebe/MMSHOF Memorial Award.
The Board of Directors also added two new Board Members. Welcome to Todd Boughner and Rusty Daggett and we look forward to working together and sharing your wealth of knowledge as we move forward.
The induction ceremony for the Class of 2022 is scheduled for Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. The Class of 2022 will be announced in June or early July of 2022.

The next meeting of the Board of Directors is on September 7, 2022 and is open to the public, the meeting is to be held at Buddies Grille in Holt. The meetings start at 6:45 PM.
